About

Paul Mortimer

Much of my poetry is inspired by nature and urban landscapes. My debut poetry collection, Fault Line, was published by Lapwing in 2015 and nominated for the Seamus Heaney Centre Prize for best 1st collection. My second collection, Wind Voices, also published by Lapwing, came out in 2018. In 2017 some of my poems were included in the anthology Chiaroscuro published by the online poetry group dverse. I have performed at a number of literary festivals and regularly at poetry events in the South West. Born in St Asaph, Denbighshire, I am something of a nomad having lived in over 40 different places. Now happily settled in Devon.

    Hiya Paul,
I can’t find an email address to ask a question. So here a bit out of place and please unpublish: I am not au fait with twitter and wonder who you tweet your older post addresses to?
No ballad today? I found it very difficult. Don’t quite know why, as once you start it is hard to stop.
    Please delete my chatter.
